# Other Capture Considerations **Environmental and weather factors** Depending upon the environment you’re capturing and how the weather is there are a few key notes: * It is not recommended to capture in the rain as water droplets on the lens will degrade performance. * Wet and shiny surfaces won’t reconstruct well.
